Riese & Müller Superdelite5 Rohloff 2027 – the ultimate high-mileage tourer

The Superdelite5 Rohloff combines Riese & Müller’s full Control Technology chassis and 1,200Wh DualBattery with the exceptional range, reliability and electronic shifting of the Rohloff E-14 Speedhub. It is built for riders who cover serious distances and want premium performance with minimal exposed drivetrain maintenance.

1,200Wh DualBattery for maximum touring freedom

The frame integrates a Bosch CompactTube 400Wh and PowerTube 800Wh as one Smart System energy reserve. A sensible planning estimate is approximately 70–120 miles, although no single range figure can represent every ride. Terrain, gradients, luggage, rider weight, weather, tyres and assistance mode can move real-world range significantly in either direction.

Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System

The current Bosch CX drive delivers smooth, progressive support and can provide up to 120Nm after the free Performance Upgrade 2.0. The delivery setting may be lower until the software and permitted tuning options are applied. UK assistance is limited to 15.5mph. Bosch Kiox 500 and Purion 200 provide an easy-to-read display, navigation support and conveniently positioned controls.

Rohloff E-14 electronic 14-speed hub

The Rohloff E-14 offers a very wide ratio range across 14 evenly spaced gears. Electronic push-button shifting is precise and fast, while the sealed hub protects the mechanism from road dirt and weather. Coupled with a clean, quiet Gates CDX carbon belt, it is an outstanding transmission for year-round commuting, loaded touring and riders who value durability over frequent adjustment.

Full suspension without compromising carrying ability

A 120mm Fox AWL 34 air fork and Fox Float Rhythm rear shock deliver 110mm of effective rear travel. The active rear swingarm and co-sprung carrier form Riese & Müller Control Technology, helping tyres stay in contact with the ground while reducing impacts through the rider and luggage. The X-Fusion dropper post adds extra clearance when stopping or descending.

Premium visibility and stopping control

A Supernova M99 Mini Pro-25 headlight with main beam and Supernova TL3 Pro brake light support confident all-season riding. Tektro TRP HD-EU835 hydraulic discs are standard, with Bosch eBike ABS and Magura MT C ABS brakes available as a £369 factory option. Wide 62mm Schwalbe Super Moto-X tyres add grip and stability.

Practical security and connectivity

The bike includes an ABUS Granit XPlus frame lock, 130cm adapter chain and bag, plus the integrated RX Chip. After registration and activation, RX Connect can show the bike’s location, trigger a digital motion alarm and record rides. The first year of ConnectRide Free is included; ongoing connected services may require a subscription.

Colours and sizing

Choose Moss or Shadow, in M, L or XL. Suggested rider heights are approximately 1.70–1.80m for M, 1.75–1.90m for L and 1.80–2.00m for XL. A test ride remains the best way to confirm fit.
