Riese & Müller Multicharger3 Vario 2027 – Premium Longtail Cargo E-Bike

The Multicharger3 Vario is designed to give you the familiar ride and handling of a full-size e-bike with the carrying ability of a compact longtail cargo bike. Its Bosch Cargo Line drive, 750Wh PowerTube battery, Enviolo continuously variable hub gearing and Gates belt drive make it particularly well suited to everyday family transport, commuting, shopping and loaded leisure riding.

The Bosch Cargo Line Smart System is designed around the extra demands of a cargo bike. It provides strong, controlled assistance for starting, climbing and riding with passengers or luggage, while the Bosch Kiox 500 and LED Remote give you a clear, modern cockpit.

750Wh PowerTube with optional 250Wh Range Extender

A Bosch PowerTube 750Wh battery is fitted as standard. For riders who regularly cover longer distances, the optional Bosch PowerMore 250Wh Range Extender increases total battery capacity to 1,000Wh. Real-world range varies with assistance level, rider and cargo weight, terrain, weather, tyre choice and riding style.

Enviolo hub gears with Gates belt drive

The continuously variable Enviolo hub lets you adjust the gearing smoothly without moving through fixed gear steps. The Gates CDX carbon belt keeps the drivetrain clean, quiet and low maintenance compared with a conventional chain and derailleur.

Configure it for children, passengers or cargo

The Multicharger3 can be configured around how you actually plan to use it. Choose the Family Kit or Family Kit Plus for family transport, the Passenger Kit for carrying a passenger, or the Cargo Kit for substantial luggage capacity. The Cargo front carrier is fitted as standard and can also be specified with its dedicated bag.

Safety and all-road options

Factory options include Bosch eBike ABS for additional braking control, an Offroad Kit for more mixed-surface use and an RX Chip for compatible Riese & Müller connected security services where available. Two sizes and four colour combinations
