Moustache Lundi 27 Belt 2027 – iconic city style, now lighter and simpler

The Moustache Lundi 27 Belt 2027 reworks one of the most distinctive electric city bikes around a beautifully simple idea: effortless everyday travel with less weight and less maintenance. Its low step-through frame, upright Moustache handlebar and fully equipped city specification make it easy to live with, while the new Bosch rear-hub system and single-speed Gates belt keep the silhouette clean and the complete bike to just 23kg.

New Bosch Hub Line power

The compact Bosch Hub Line Smart System motor is almost hidden inside the rear wheel, yet delivers a lively 45Nm directly to the road. Starts feel immediate and controlled, assistance responds naturally in urban traffic, and the motor decouples above the assisted speed so the bike rolls with very little drag. It is a refined match for commuting, errands and relaxed city riding.

Clean, quiet single-speed Gates belt drive

This Belt model deliberately removes conventional gears and the maintenance that comes with them. Its Gates ST belt is clean, smooth, quiet and resistant to everyday weather, with no oily chain to mark clothing and no derailleur to adjust. The 50T/20T ratio is designed for straightforward urban riding, making this the ideal Lundi for flatter towns and riders who value simplicity above a wide gear range.

360Wh battery with a maximum 55-mile range

The slim, frame-integrated Bosch PowerTube 360Wh battery helps preserve the elegant Lundi profile. Bosch calculates approximately 55 miles in Eco mode for a city e-bike using this Hub Line and battery combination under favourable conditions, giving ample capacity for regular commuting and daily journeys. The supplied 4A charger also reduces waiting time between rides.

Easy access and genuine everyday comfort

The low step-over frame makes mounting and stopping reassuringly easy. A 40mm suspension seatpost, broad 27.5 x 2.40 Schwalbe Super Moto-X tyres, ergonomic grips and the upright custom handlebar work together to absorb rough streets and place the rider in a relaxed position with a clear view of traffic.

Practical equipment fitted from the start

The removable rear carrier combines QL3 lateral mounts with a MIK HD platform, ready for compatible panniers, luggage and child-seat solutions. Double-wall aluminium mudguards, an adjustable stand and main-battery-powered front and rear lights make the Lundi ready for year-round daily use without a shopping list of essential extras.

Confident braking and useful security

Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes provide predictable stopping in changing conditions, with a larger 180mm front rotor for added control. The fitted ABUS 4650SL frame lock shares its key with the battery lock, so securing the bike and removing the battery remains straightforward. Bosch eBike Lock can add digital motor locking through the Smart System; this model is not fitted with the optional Bosch ConnectModule.

Purion 200 and Bosch Smart System

The compact Bosch Purion 200 combines colour ride information and controls beside the left grip. Pairing the bike with the Bosch eBike Flow app provides software updates and compatible Smart System functions without cluttering the Lundi’s clean cockpit.

• Medium: recommended for riders approximately 162–190cm tall
