Moustache Game 160.8 – Factory-Level Electric Enduro Performance

The Moustache Game 160.8 is a serious long-travel electric mountain bike for riders who want confident climbing, composed descending and premium components straight out of the box. Its redesigned aluminium chassis places the Bosch battery low in the frame, while the proven Game suspension platform delivers 170 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear.

120 Nm Bosch CX Power

The Bosch Performance Line CX BDU38 Smart System motor is eligible for the latest performance update, unlocking up to 120 Nm of torque and high-torque assistance. That extra support is especially valuable on steep, technical climbs, while Bosch’s controlled response helps maintain traction when the surface becomes loose or awkward.

Choose the lighter 600 Wh PowerTube for a more agile feel or the 750 Wh option for longer mountain days. Moustache quotes a maximum range of 129 km—approximately 80 miles—under favourable conditions. The compact Purion 400 display sits protected beneath the handlebar, with the System Controller and wireless Mini Remote keeping the cockpit clean and intuitive.

A More Playful, Better-Balanced Game Frame

Moustache’s hydroformed 6061 aluminium frame uses its closed “No Cut” down tube construction to improve stiffness and protect the battery. The removable PowerTube sits lower in the chassis and exits through a protected hatch near the motor, helping reduce front-end weight and making the bike easier to place through turns, compressions and technical trail features.

FOX Factory Suspension

A 170 mm FOX 38 Factory fork with GRIP X2 damping and Kashima coating offers independent high- and low-speed compression and rebound adjustment. At the rear, the 160 mm FOX Float X Factory shock is specifically tuned by Moustache for mid-stroke support, grip and controlled progression when the trail gets rough or the landings get bigger.

Wireless SRAM GX AXS T-Type Shifting

The 12-speed SRAM GX AXS T-Type drivetrain combines precise electronic shifting with a wide 10–52T cassette. Its robust, hangerless architecture is designed to shift cleanly under e-MTB loads, giving reliable gear changes on steep climbs without cluttering the handlebar with another cable.

Shimano XT Control and Enduro Grip

Shimano XT four-piston brakes and oversized 220 mm front and 203 mm rear rotors provide the power and heat management needed for long, steep descents. Moustache’s 29-inch tubeless-ready wheels use asymmetric alloy rims and Mavic-developed hubs, paired with Maxxis Assegai MaxxGrip tyres for dependable bite on wet roots, loose rock and hard braking zones.

Trail-Ready Details

A KS Rage-i dropper post creates room to move on descents, while the 780 mm Moustache handlebar, short 40 mm CNC stem, Fizik Terra Aidon X5 saddle and SB3 Hornet grips complete a purposeful cockpit. An integrated Acros multi-tool keeps essential trail adjustments close at hand.

Who Is the Game 160.8 For?

This is the choice for experienced trail and enduro riders who want maximum descending confidence without sacrificing technical climbing ability. It is equally at home on natural mountain terrain, demanding trail centres, enduro stages and bike-park laps.
