The 2027 Kalkhoff Image L Season is a comfortable, easy-access electric bike for everyday journeys, leisure rides and longer days out. Its Low Step frame, compact Bosch battery and responsive Performance Line SX motor keep the bike lighter and easier to handle than many full-size e-bikes, while the enclosed Shimano hub gears and Gates carbon belt make day-to-day ownership refreshingly simple.

Light and responsive Bosch SX power

The Bosch Performance Line SX Smart System motor delivers up to 60Nm of assistance. It feels natural and lively when setting off, climbing or riding into a headwind without making the bike unnecessarily heavy. Assistance settings and connected functions can be managed through Bosch’s eBike Flow app.

Compact 400Wh battery with practical everyday range

The integrated Bosch CompactTube 400Wh battery helps keep the Image L Season slim and manageable. It can provide up to approximately 50 miles in favourable conditions, making it well suited to local riding, commuting and relaxed day trips. Actual range varies with assistance mode, terrain, rider and luggage weight, weather, temperature and tyre pressure. The supplied Bosch 2A Smart Charger provides dependable charging at home.

Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub and Gates carbon belt

The Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub gears keep the working parts protected inside the rear hub and allow you to select an easier gear while stationary before setting off. A clean and quiet Gates CDC carbon belt replaces a conventional chain, reducing routine cleaning and lubrication while providing smooth, durable year-round performance.

Easy-access Low Step frame

The Wave-style Low Step frame makes getting on and off straightforward, especially for riders who value confidence and stability at stops. Four frame sizes allow a more accurate fit, while the adjustable stem and Comfort Riser handlebar make it easy to fine-tune the riding position.

Comfortable on everyday roads

A SR Suntour Mobie A32 suspension fork with 75mm travel helps soften broken tarmac and rough cycle paths. Wide Schwalbe Big Apple tyres add cushioning and stability, while Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors provide reassuring, controlled stopping in changing conditions.

The Image L Season arrives ready for practical riding with a MIK HD rear carrier, full-length mudguards, adjustable rear stand and integrated Herrmans LED lighting. The battery strap and integrated cable routing add useful security and a tidy finish.

Simple Bosch LED Remote

The Bosch LED Remote keeps assistance controls clearly visible and within easy reach. Colour LEDs show the selected support level and battery status, while the Smart System connection gives access to additional ride information through a compatible smartphone.
