Kalkhoff Endeavour 5 Auto 2027 – effortless high-performance touring

The 2027 Kalkhoff Endeavour 5 Auto combines Bosch’s latest high-torque Smart System drive with an electronically controlled TRP transmission and a large 800Wh battery. It is built for smooth everyday commuting, longer leisure rides and loaded touring, with a choice of easy-access Low Step or traditional Crossbar frames.

Bosch Performance Line CX power

The Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System motor delivers up to 120Nm of torque. That strong but controlled support helps on steep climbs, into headwinds and when the MIK HD carrier is loaded, while the compact Bosch Purion 200 colour display keeps assistance controls within easy reach.

800Wh battery for longer journeys

The fully integrated Bosch PowerTube 800Wh battery provides an estimated maximum range of up to 100 miles. Actual range varies with assistance mode, rider and luggage weight, terrain, gradients, weather, tyre pressure and riding style. A Bosch 4A Smart Charger is supplied.

TRP E.A.S.I. A10 electric shifting

The TRP E.A.S.I. A10 electric 10-speed drivetrain provides light, precise control across a practical 11–43T range. Shimano CUES Linkglide components and an e-bike-ready Shimano chain are designed to cope with the additional torque and load of a powerful mid-drive system.

Touring comfort built in

A 100mm SR Suntour Mobie A32 suspension fork and aluminium suspension seatpost help smooth broken roads, towpaths and rougher lanes. The Comfort Riser handlebar, adjustable stem, Herrmans ergonomic grips and Selle Royal Essenza Plus saddle support a comfortable, adaptable riding position.

Reliable braking and efficient tyres

Tektro T3120 hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors front and rear provide controlled all-weather braking. Schwalbe Green Marathon 55-622 tyres balance comfort, durability and efficient rolling for regular road and cycle-path use.

Fully equipped for everyday use

A 27kg-rated MIK HD rear carrier, full mudguards, adjustable rear stand and integrated lighting are fitted as standard. The Spanninga rear light includes a brake-light function. The frame is also prepared for Kalkhoff’s optional front carrier, available separately at the manufacturer’s stated RRP of £119.

Frames, colours and sizes

Low Step sizes are Small 43cm, Medium 48cm, Large 53cm and XL 58cm. Crossbar sizes are Medium 48cm, Large 53cm, XL 58cm and XXL 63cm. Both frames are available in Jetgrey Glossy and Umber Brown Matt. Maximum permitted total weight is 150kg, including the bike, rider, luggage and accessories.
