Kalkhoff Endeavour 3 Air 2027: full power without the usual bulk

The Endeavour 3 Air brings together two qualities that rarely share the same fully equipped trekking e-bike: serious Bosch CX performance and an impressively low 25kg weight. That figure includes the 600Wh battery, rear carrier, lights and mudguards—so this is a ready-to-ride machine that remains notably easier to manoeuvre, push, store and lift than many full-power trekking bikes.

Why the 25kg weight matters

Weight is felt every time the motor is not doing the work: wheeling the bike through a gate, guiding it into a shed, lifting a wheel onto a carrier or handling it at low speed. At approximately 25kg, the Endeavour 3 Air feels more manageable and responsive while retaining the equipment and carrying ability needed for commuting and long-distance touring.

120Nm Bosch CX power

The Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System delivers up to 120Nm for confident starts, steep climbs and heavily loaded journeys. Its integrated 600Wh PowerTube keeps the frame clean and balanced, while the compact Purion 200 puts assistance, ride information and walk assist within easy reach.

Wide-range Shimano gearing

An 11-speed Shimano Deore XT derailleur works with a durable Cues Linkglide 11–50T cassette. The broad range gives you a genuinely low climbing gear without sacrificing useful speed on open roads, while Linkglide is engineered for smooth, durable shifting under the higher loads created by an e-bike motor.

Air-sprung comfort, practical everyday equipment

The 80mm SR Suntour NCX32 Air fork can be tuned to the rider and smooths rough roads, towpaths and broken surfaces without adding unnecessary weight. Wide Schwalbe Big Apple tyres provide further comfort and stability, and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes deliver dependable control in changing conditions.

For daily use, the Endeavour 3 Air is already fully equipped with an adjustable cockpit, integrated LED lights, brake-light rear lamp, full mudguards, a stable kickstand and a 27kg-rated MIK HD carrier. Choose the easy-access Low Step frame or the sportier Crossbar, each available in Jetgrey Matt or the two-tone Arcticgrey / Nepalsilver Glossy finish.
