Gazelle Chamonix C5 Electric Bike

The Gazelle Chamonix C5 blends an active, responsive ride with the everyday comfort and practical equipment Gazelle is known for. Its powerful Shimano EP6 mid-drive motor, clean Gates belt drive and robust Nexus 5-speed hub make it an excellent choice for commuting, leisure riding and longer weekend journeys.

Powerful Shimano EP6 Assistance

The Shimano EP6 mid-drive motor delivers 85Nm of torque for confident starts, hills and loaded riding. Its removable SC-EN610 colour display keeps speed, distance, battery level and assistance information easy to read, while Eco, Sport and High modes let you choose the support that suits each journey.

Choose 504Wh or 630Wh

The integrated Shimano battery keeps the frame balanced and uncluttered. Choose the 504Wh option for everyday commuting and regular local rides, or the 630Wh option for longer journeys and fewer charging stops.

Low-Maintenance Nexus and Gates Drive

Shimano Nexus 5-speed hub gearing is designed to handle e-bike torque while keeping shifting simple and protected from the elements. The Gates CDX carbon belt runs quietly and cleanly, with no chain oil and far less routine maintenance than a conventional chain drive.

Comfort with an Active Feel

A 40mm Gazelle Mono Integrated suspension fork, suspension seatpost and wide Schwalbe Big Apple tyres help smooth broken surfaces. The Gazelle Switch stem adjusts without tools, making it easy to fine-tune the riding position from more upright to more active.

Fully Equipped for Everyday Riding

Shimano hydraulic disc brakes provide dependable control, while Trelock and AXA lighting, aluminium mudguards, an ART** frame lock and an Ursus rear stand make the Chamonix practical from day one. The 25kg-rated MIK HD rear carrier accepts a wide range of compatible luggage accessories.

Frame, Size and Colour Options

Black Matte is available in both Low-Step and High-Step frames. Clay Green Gloss is available in the Low-Step frame only. The verified size range runs from 49cm to 65cm, depending on the selected frame and colour.

Warranty

Gazelle provides a ten-year warranty for the frame, five-year cover for the fork and paint, and two-year cover for the motor, battery, display and other components, subject to Gazelle's terms and conditions.
