How do I install Slime?

  • Keep the valve in the upper half of the tyre.
  • Remove the valve cap off the valve stem.
  • Let the tyre fully deflate.
  • Remove the object that caused the puncture if possible.
  • Squeeze in the Slime sealant.
  • Put the valve core back in place.
  • Add air to the tyre.
  • Drive around 0.2 miles to spread the sealant inside evenly.

How much tyre sealant do I need for different types of tyres?

The amount of tyre sealant needed varies by
tyre type:

  • Bicycle: 3-4 oz. (89-118 mL)
  • Dirt Bike: 8 oz. (237 mL)
  • Truck/SUV: 20 oz. (592 mL)
  • Wheelbarrows: 8-12 oz. (237-355 mL)
